Great location!

Great location for the price and a lot of places are walking distance. Liz is very responsive as well. My friend and I forgot our keys and didn’t realize it until we got back to the apartment! Thankfully Liz was so responsive and walked us through on getting the spare key to get into the apartment! The place is great but the bathroom can be a little uncomfortable for some of us because it is a little small. The blanket had a odd smell to it so we contacted Liz immediately. The next day she brought us all new blankets. Which we really appreciate it. Besides that we all had a great stay.

Liz’s place is in a great location… East facing windows let in plenty of morning light. The bedroom is quite tight and we opted to sleep separately taking advantage of the sofa bed. The separate washroom and toilet were a bit drab and musty. Several subway stops are reasonably close; Union Square was particularly nice for access to the express cars. Simon & The Whale is an amazing nearby restaurant and we loved Ampersand a block over for drinks.

Spotless and in a great location. Liz was super-responsive to any questions. Guests need to remember NYC apartments are small and the city is noisy. But as a born New Yorker found this to be spacious for a NY one bedroom.

Location is good next to the bus stop. The apartment is on the 1st floor so lot’s of noise coming from the street. We slept with earplugs because of that (and the noisy AC). The place is clean but age starts to show in some places. Liz was a great host and answered always very fast.

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 12 nights. The apartment was clean and comfortable and suitable for up to two people. The bedroom was large with a comfortable queen bed and adequate storage. The bedroom does not have a window but some natural light does enter the bedroom from an opening in one of the walls. The living area was also comfortably spacious with natural light coming from two windows. The air conditioner worked well and also the wifi and television. The third level apartment is located at the rear of the building and looks onto some rear courtyards. The small kitchen had most amenities and was adequate although we did not cook. The shower and bathroom were quite small in area and a larger person would find it a little restricting. The same can be said for the separate toilet. Access to the apartment is via two flights of long and narrow stairs. The apartment is located on 2nd Avenue which is a major road but little noise from the street actually enters the apartment. The apartment offers an opportunity to experience the lifestyle of many average New Yorkers which is an interesting experience. The apartment is also a comfortable walking distance to Union Square, Gramercy Park historic district and not much further to Madison Park near the Flat Iron building. There is also a large supermarket nearby and the subway is about three blocks away.

Everything about the stay was great. The location is perfect. The apartment is comfortable. The price is great for the location. Liz is also very responsive.

The location is very good. If you are traveling with a child there is a great playground just two blocks away!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Liz’s place very much! It had all that we needed and made our New York experience feel more real!

This place is ok if you want to be near the area of Gramercy Park. The host is nice and was quick to respond. But it is really, really small, the bathroom is tiny, much smaller than what the photos represent. It could be okay for a really short stay, but anything longer is not very comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels, but the bed sheets did not seem clean.

Liz’s place was great, it was clean and right in the middle of everything we wanted to do.

Excellent location and a great host!

Super tolle Lage, zu Fuß nur ca. 20min bis zum Empire State Building. Das Haus ist alt, hat jedoch einen alten New Yorker Charme. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet, ich denke für 2 Personen ist es perfekt, wir waren zu viert, da war es manchmal schon etwas eng. Die Gastgeberin Liz ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, antwortet stets schnell, mir hat sie bei einem Arztbesuch unglaublich geholfen! Auch bezüglich der Wohnung hat sie immer sofort versucht Abhilfe zu schaffen! Super und vielen Dank!!!!

Host is easy to communicate with, pick up the key was very easy. Great location. The apartment is a bit dated, not as shown in AirBNB photos. Shower stall and bathroom was a bit disappointing, very small. overall could use some update. The sofa bed is Not comfortable. ( apartment would be more comfortable if stay 1-2 people, not 4) Kitchen and overall is clean.

LIz’s place is a comfortable apt. It was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, and Liz was very easy to communicate with. The water cooler is a nice touch, and there were several good restaurants within a block of the apt, including a 24-hour diner and a relatively cheap pub – both great ways to extend a night out. My only complaint is the size – it felt smaller than the photos indicated, and I disagree that it comfortably accommodates 6. In my opinion, this is more of a 4-person unit.

Nice place in a nice position

Locations is good, communications with owner was excellent, checking in and getting key was super easy. The apartment is clean and surprisingly quiet even with windows on 2nd Avenue open. Window kitchen is clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Bathroom facilities leave something to be desired, toilet is in it’s own tiny closet but was clean and functional. Sink and shower are in there own tiny closet and while functional the shower is the most disappointing feature of the apartment: besides being tiny, the shower is like something out of a rustic summer camp.

Liz’s home was perfect for our few night stay in Manhattan! We were out most of the days and nights so it was mainly a place for us to sleep. It’s nothing fancy but incredibly centrally located and would recommend!

Great hospitality and we enjoyed our stay. Apartment has super location and Liz is helpful, kind and efficient in communication as host. Was perfect size for hosting our party. Only downside: living room is noisy for sleeping (above 2nd avenue) because aircon has no closable window. Otherwise, good value and great location!

This was a great place to stay for the price. Small, but that’s New York! Good location. There is a drugstore and food market right across the street. The wine store was several blocks away (very important!). A good location to walk almost anywhere especially the East Village. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable.

Liz’s place is super comfortable and in a convenient location! Very responsive to requests, and everything worked out seamlessly. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything went off without a hitch, Liz was quick with responses to questions and had a solution planned for our late arrival! She communicated with me thought out the weekend just to check in and make sure everything was going ok and to answer any questions. We will definitely be coming back to stay again. Great space for the price. Clean and well laid out. Huge TV and comfy couch. Tiny bathroom, but a bathroom is not what we came to New York for. Location excellent, great diner steps from the entrance, supermarket across the street. We’d stay there again anytime.

Liz was great to work with and very accommodating. But our apartment was not as shown in the pictures on AirBNB and the apartment is very dated.

Molt bona ubicació, aprop del metro d’una de les linies més cèntriques. Ideal per a dues persones (petit per mes). Cuina i sala correcte però lavabo petitet. Molt acollidor. Tracte i comunicació amb la Liz inmillorable!! Repetiria si tornés a Nova York.

Liz was very pleasant and attentive. She let us check in early as we had requested which was very helpful. The apartment is cozy and well located. We enjoyed our stay.

Liz’s place is a short two flight walk up in great location. After an easy check-in and bag drop we were ready to hit the streets. The location offered easy access to a coffee shop, dinner, drugstore, and grocery store, which is great for easy mornings and nightly snacking. The bedroom was spacious and the living space was well appointed. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was in two separate rooms, which allowed for easy time sharing for our morning routines.

The pictures were accurate. The apartment was clean; amenities wonderful. I would go back in a heartbeat!
