Myu buen apartamento, el único problema fue que el colchón de aire se desinfla. La ubicación es magnífica y el barrio muy tranquilo.
I highly recomend the real state services of Lior Lev. He far exceeded that which I hoped for in a broker in that he was available 7 days a week any hour of the day or night to walk me through the process. Lior has provided me with a terrific tenant at a good rate.
We never met our host (Liz) but she was always very prompt in replying to queries and the keys were easily obtainable on our arrival. The apartment is centrally located and well-served with bars/shops/restaurants nearby and the 6 subway only a 5/10 minute walk away. The entrance to the block seems pretty rundown and the flat itself is somewhat smaller than it appears in the pictures so I would not recommend this listing for more than 4 people. It is mostly clean though could do with a coat of paint and some updating, most notably double-glazing to the windows as the street noise is very noticeable, day and night (apparently a feature of the avenues in Manhattan), and a new shower room which was old and tired. Certain things provided within the flat were good, for example excellent wifi connection, however others were less good: towels, although plentiful, were very small, and there was, for example, no hand-soap provided. We had a great time there, and it has the potential to be an excellent flat if the problems mentioned above are fixed.
Great apartment in Gramercy Park! Really good location with heaps of restaurants and bars in walking distance. 10 min walk to the subway. Highly recommended!
Perfect location for work meetings and had everything I needed to feel at home while in NYC. Liz was responsive and had no issues getting keys. Look forward to staying here again!
The apartment is very attractive and comfortable; I felt at home. And it is perfectly located in ultra-charming Gramercy Park—for example, there’s a great supermarket right across the street that’s open til 1 am. Liz is a wonderful host; she thoroughly explained everything, and promptly responded to questions. All in all, a very fine experience!
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, in a convenient location accessible to public transportation. It slept a family of four with no problem, and in contrast to some reviewers, we did not notice it being too noisy. While we did not meet Liz, she answered right away to our texts. Highly recommended.
Aside from the furniture in the pictures not representing the furniture in the apartment we had a great time and it was in an amazing area. Liz was very quick to respond with anything we needed and even let us check out a couple hours late because of our departure time via train. Would come back again
Everything was just as expected! Location is the best, the apartment was in perfect conditions, and Liz responded inmediately averytime we contacted her. We certainly recommend Liz’s place.
We had a god time stadig here. Nice host. It’s a nice apartement for two friends, or a couple with a Child. 2nd Ave is very noisy, so if you stay here, wear earplugs. The location is great, nice area
Our stay in NY was really great. Liz was a perfect host, she helped a lot with information and trying to do easier our trip in NY. The apartment was like she say in Airbnb Site. The location is really great, 3 blocks to subway and safety neighborhood. I recommend it!
The place was just as described and Liz was great to deal with. Location is central to many great options for entertainment.
Liz’s place was great! We had 4 coworkers staying for a conference so between the queen size bed, the futon, and the air mattress we were all very comfortable. Great location!
My sister and I did enjoy our stay at Liz’ apartment. First of all, our HOSTESS: she was agreeable and prompting to help anytime. Very good assistance! The appartment is as it’s shown in the ad. Good space for 2 persons, clean, really nice. Minus: bathroom very tiny. But we got used to it. Toilet is separated from shower which I liked. LOCATION: great! 2nd Ave with 23rd! Duane Reade and a market right across de street. A 15 min walk to a Subway Station (Line 6 on 23rd/Park Ave S or Line N, R – 23rd/Broadway; besides, there’s a bus stop in front of the building). We did appreciate the coffee machine, powder and the water filter available at the apartament for us. Thank you very much, Liz!! In My next time in NYC, I’d like certainly to stay at your place again! Greetings from Brazil!! Sincerely, Osmarina
Our experience was perfect. Liz had been waiting more than an hour for us in the apartment with continuous communication for the transportation opportunities. She welcomed us nicely and explained about all the important stuff and relevant sites we should visit. We were 4 big guys and slept well every night. The apartment is nice and quite when considering the great location. The location is at the center of the city and close to everywhere, exactly between the north and the south of Manhattan. The apartment is well equipped with big to small things for daily usage. The communication during our staying with Liz was fast and effective. We have left with a desire to come back again to amazing Manhattan directly to Liz.
We Stayed 7 days in the apt, 4 people, space enough for us! Liz is very helpful, and responds any inquiry immediately, she was able to receive us earlier, our plane arrived in am, and as she mentioned, she had the possibility an let us in very early in am Thanks for all
Very convenient location. Close to supermarket, restaurant.
I stayed the whole three weeks in Liz’s place with my daughter most of the time. We flew all the way from China to NY. Liz place has given us a sense of home. We find everything easy to manage. The place itself is nice except the shower room is very small, but other rooms, such as living room and bedroom and kitchen are all quite nice. It’s a bit noisy but it’s NY, what can you expect. Transportation wise, it’s very convenient, good access to all public transport, downstairs bus 15 goes to Chinatown, Union Square, United Nations; 10mins walking to tube station, which leads you to Central park, 5th Avenue. I also tried NY Citi bicycle, it’s close to Liz place as well on 25th, or 19th street. Liz is very approachable and very responsive, I guess that’s the advantage of having her stay in the same building. Downstairs , Orion Restaurant offer 7/24 meals with good quality. There are lots of nice choice of take-aways as well. Cleaner comes in once a week, which was included in the overall cost. Overall, very nice experience! Thanks, Liz!
Liz was very accommodating and a great host. The apartment is as described, in a great location with plenty of handy shops nearby. Apartment is perfect for family of four, and we would definitely recommend staying here!
Our stay at Liz’s apartment was great! Liz was welcoming and communication was good. She was flexible with our arrival time and met us at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The a/c worked well and it was a very comfortable stay. The bathroom is a strange configuration but worked fine. The apartment also faces an avenue which can be a bit noisy. As we have lived in nyc on an ave before it didn’t faze us but if your sensitive to noise you might want to being ear plugs at bed time. The location was great. A bus line is right outside the buildings door and another is around the corner. The subway, restaurants and union square are all within easy walking distance
The property is located on very busy street facing 3 lane highway (2nd ave) with 24/7 traffic and a bus stop. I would rate noise insulation in the apartment as poor, so for people with noise sensitivity this may not be an ideal place. There’s also quite unpleasant smell in the building probably from pest control. I wish owner included more detailed information and property pictures into the description besides the buzz words and unrelated pictures of restaurants.
Everything about the place was terrific, and Liz was accommodating and easy to work with. Yes, the bathroom space is tiny, but it’s funky NY and rather fun. The rooms are large, the bed comfortable, the air mattress a great bonus extra, and the extras like the TV and extensive cable a nice touch. The location is perfect – close to midtown, east village, west village, etc, but not in the heart of the craziness. The all-night diner downstairs was a great perk! It can be a bit noisy at night with ambulances, etc, but again, it’s New York City. My only suggestion would be some nicer towels and pillows – but that’s a minor thing. Great value. Easy to make it work. Would do it again. Thanks!
The apartment was definitely cramped for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 11 yr old, but we were ready for that, since it is a one bedroom in NYC. Building definitely old and a little dingy, and apartment could use some updating, and a deep cleaning in the kitchen. Probably not the best location for kids. On the positive side, Liz was very nice to deal with, super responsive and the experience was easy. Location is great, central to everything. Overall fine for us, but mainly as a place to sleep.
We had a great stay at the apartment … Its a bit removed from all the action on 5th and 6th avenue … but there are a couple of public transport options close by. The house is comfortable and the kitchen was a great to save some cost in NYC which can be very expensive.
Very easy to contact and get into the apartment. Added an additional person and bedding was added for the couch. Apartment is a great location easy to find and get to upper and lower Manhattan. Living room is spacious and TV is great. There is basics in the kitchen so easy to do small meals at the apartment. Apartment has an air conditioner so it does not get hot. Allowed for late checkout which worked great for our airline reservations. Overall nice apartment
Nice, large and cosy apartment. We felt like home quickly. Nice supermarket just at the corner, with a delicatessen area. Nice, helpful and available owner. Buses just below, subway at 10 min walk. Small bathroom, ok for a short stay. Noisy at night, due to high traffic on 2nd avenue, and proximity of hospitals (ambulances). Quiet neighbors. Noisy bedbase when moving. We had a great week in NYC.
We had 9 nights in this apartment. The location was great. .not too far from the subway and an easy walk or taxi ride to the centre of town. However, it is VERY tiny, and for 3 ladies in separate beds it was very cramped. Liz was available if required, however we did need to ask for extra bedding twice . A toaster would have been a nice addition to the kitchen. For a couple it’s perfect. .for any more it is too small.
The apartment is cozy and clean. We had an amazing time there. The location is great. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a supermarket close after midnight. There’s a queen size bed, a sofa bed and a air mattress. Fit 4 people perfectly. Would definitely recommend it
Very recommended!
Professional, honest an efficient.
My time is very precious and I really appreciate service providers that appreciate that!
Neat apartment, clean, well kept, super comfy bed and extra air beds if needed. Location is superb: subway around the corner, 10 minute walk to the Flatiron-building, 15-20 minute walk to East Village, a $10 cab-ride will take you to 5th Avenue etc. A big, BIG thank you to Liz, she was absolutely the best host ever. Super helpful, very open and friendly. We had problems with our luggage not arriving, and she went out of her way to help us get it back faster. We definitely recommend this place to anyone, and will, if possible, be back.
This was my very first time renting an apt over a hotel stay. We stayed at Liz’s place for 3 nights. Liz was very accommodating and was always available to answer all of our questions. She kept in contact with us during our road trip to NY. Though, this is only a one-bedroom apartment, it was able to house 4 adults and 3 small children. The walk-up to the apt was one flight of stairs. There was a musky odour in the stairwell, but it didn’t follow into the apt. The only downside was the bathroom and toilet. The vanity and shower are in a really tight space. The shower was very small and the water drains too slow, causing the shower floor to flood with water. The toilet is in a tight space in a separate room. It was fine for the moms and kids, but the dads found it uncomfortable for their legs squashed up against the wall. Other than the bathroom, the apt was well furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials for cooking and eating. I suggest bringing a paper towel roll and box of tissues as there was none provided. Thankfully, I was thinking ahead and brought those essentials. The water dispenser was great and there was enough spring water for all of us for the entire stay. There were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets for all of us to use. The pull-out couch is almost equivalent to a double bed. It’s clean and comfortable if you prefer a firm sleeping area. We used an air mattress, except we brought our own. Liz does provide an air mattress for an extra sleeping area. There is enough space on the living room floor to lay out a double air mattress once the coffee table is pushed to the side. The flat screen tv is huge, but great for the kids. Free Wi-Fi internet was provided and definitely a must. The apt was very warm and cozy. The noise from the street was loud but not bothersome. It’s expected in NY; besides, the kids slept well so that was not an issue. The location was perfect, with a 24hr diner; grocery store; and an urgent care walkin clinic across the street (just in case). We walked everywhere! We managed to walk from the apt to Times Square and Central Park, even with 3 small children in strollers. Overall, we were satisfied with Liz and her apt.
The location of this apartment was very good being close to the flatiron district and central in lower manhattan. Getting to the subway was a 5 minute way and a good grocery store was around the corner. Perfect for first time visitors to New York. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to our questions. She helped out as much as she could. However, although clean and sufficient in most ways, the apartment was not what we expected in terms of sleeping space and the quality of the essentials considering the price. We had heating, we had internet access, we had 4 sleeping spaces, we had a kitchen and could make food for the family. But there were not that many electrical outlets for charging devices, a plug in the kitchen was loose, the wifi worked well in one room but not in the entire apartment, the third bed was a sofa that converted partially into a bed so our 3rd and 4th family members slept on a air mattress that needed to be put away every day. Sufficient, but not really worth the price compared to other places we stayed in Manhattan. There was construction going on behind the apartment. This is nothing that host could help, but doubtless it did effect our sleep and our holiday. The general cleanliness of the apartment was acceptable but not much more than that. This apartment is suited for 2 or max 3 people.
This was my first time using airbnb and Liz helped make that an easy and smooth experience! She was very responsive to all my messages, and she lives right upstairs and is easy to get in touch with if you need anything. The apartment itself is super cozy and clean with a large living room and cable TV. The location is great – easy access to public transportation with some good restaurants nearby. The street noise and neighbors were a little loud (especially with the snoring at night), so be prepared. Overall, I had a great experience here. Thanks for everything, Liz!
Nice located in NYC to access many tourists places. Having said that, the appartment is not fresh at all as it looks in the pictures. It is very dark at the rear of a small and black building at the 2nd floor with a narrow access. The owner is nice but we had to cope with her coming into the appartment while away without any permission. It fits for a max of 4 pax no more. It’s really much not a recommendable location, at least not for this such high price and poor service.
Liz was easy to communicate with and responded to my e-mails prior to our trip in an efficient and friendly manner. The location was excellent for us as it was one block from our son’s apartment. We had a family emergency while in NYC so only my daughter, son-in-law and infant daughter stayed there. According to their evaluation, Liz’s place is suitable for 2 people. They found the shower/washroom facilities a bit cramped but as they spent most of their time outdoors it worked out for them. The apartment was clean and warm. For light sleepers, please be aware that this apartment is located on a busy street. Our family emergency necessitated us canceling the last stay of our visit and this was dealt with by Airbnb in a friendly and efficient manner……we were very impressed with how Airbnb dealt with our situation.
From the day I contacted Liz she was great and very accommodating. The apartment is super well located, 2 blocks from 5th avenue how can that get any better? A block from the train? The apt. is located in a second floor that has steep stairs, if Liz wasn’t there the day I arrived I would have had trouble getting my luggage up. (Big suit case) The place is very basic and cute, it has just what you need, although I would suggest putting some shelves in the bathroom to leave your stuff. I would definitively come back!!!
This cozy little flat was just perfect for our weekend getaway, when visited during a particularly cold spell of winter. Liz was very accommodating and available for any of our concerns. The place was very warm, there was cable TV for when we cuddled up on the couch, and the bed was soft and comfy. Perfect home base, close to a lot of great places to eat and a short walk the subway. Thanks for hosting us!
Host was welcoming and helpful. Location is very convenient and central, as advertised. Flat was warm, comfortable and well equipped, with everything you may need for a short stay in town. The shower room is quite small, but practicable. Recommended
